Announcements from the Conference
*Minnesota Women’s Ministries invites you to our Annual Prayer Walk. It is open to everyone, men, women, children, family and church groups. It is a time to come away and spend time with our God. There is a playground, drinking fountains and bathrooms at the start of the trail. It is a hiking trail and the walk is a little over a mile in length with benches located all along the trail.  August 193-5 pm. A come and go event. *Maplewood Academy will be holding a workbee on campus on August 6th from 8am to 3pm.  Lunch will be provided.  If you would like to come on the evening of August 5 we would be happy to house you in the dorm. We would appreciate your help to get our campus ready for the new school year. We will be working on painting dorm rooms, laying carpet in some of the dorm rooms, landscaping and bathroom renovation work. Thank you for all of your prayers as we prepare for the upcoming school year and for your help on August 6. (2017 letter, wish list )
*Capital City Adventist Christian School is seeking a part-time Pre-K(4) & Kindergarten teacher for the 2017 - 2018 school year. CCACS is a PreK-8 grade school located on the south side of St Paul. We are looking for a passionate and dedicated teacher who will help grow our Pre-K/K program. *African Camp Meeting in Rochester. On Sabbath, August 19, 2017, the Rochester Seventh-day Adventist Church will be hosting an African Camp Meeting. This will be an all-day event with guest speakers, Dr. Leroy Sewell from the Georgia-Cumberland Conference, and Pastor Brian Mungandi from the Minnesota Conference. We would also like to invite African music groups to be a part of this event. Spots will be available for you to sing special numbers throughout the day, as well as during a sacred concert in the afternoon. We look forward to this upcoming event which we know will be a blessing to our brothers and sisters all over Minnesota. *With the storms of last fall and this spring, North Star Camp is in need of lots of help, cleaning up and cutting up the felled trees. Do you have experience in chainsawing? We need your help September 16th – 17th, 2017. Arrive Sabbath evening the 16th, and stay the night. Lodging will be supplied (yes, free) as well as meals, (Sabbath dinner, Sunday breakfast, and lunch). Gas, bar oil and oil mixture for your chainsaw will also be supplied. Must be 18 years old to handle and run chainsaws at this event. Safety Equipment required:  Chaps, Helmet, Goggles, Ear protection, full-length jeans, Sturdy shoes/boots, Leather Gloves.
